Sports Floors, Inc. Grand Opening

Tuesday, February 10, 2009 marked a pivotal day in the sixteen year history of Sports Floors, Inc. as the company officially dedicated the new corporate headquarters in Memphis, Tennessee.  A five year vision of company founder and President Bruce Gleneck, the 8,400 square foot office building and warehouse on Reese Road is a state of the art facility with the Connor Sports Flooring Design Center as its focal point.

The Design Center is home to over one dozen different, full-size athletic flooring samples to assist visitors in selecting the perfect floor system for their school, church, or recreation center. “This is the culmination of sixteen years of hard work and dedication,” said Gleneck.  “We hope that our customers will take advantage of the Design Center that we feel is one of the best facilities of its type in the country.  And this location certainly allows us to continue to grow and develop our business.”

Over one hundred various clients, architects, contractors, and vendors from across the Mid-South were in attendance for the event that featured down-home Memphis BBQ and a visit from the famous Grizzly Girls NBA Dance Team.  Jon Isaacs, President of Connor Sports Flooring who was in attendance was impressed with the facility and stressed the positive impact it will have on the company.  “Sport Floors is consistently one of our top five Authorized Dealers nationwide,” stated Isaacs. “This facility will only add to their ability to provide the best products and services in region.  It’s really First Class.”
