In 2017, Sports Floors, Inc. and Connor Sports partnered with the Recreation and Park Commission for the Parish of East Baton Rouge (BREC) and NBA Cares to refurbish a basketball court at Monte Sano Park Gym in Baton Route, Louisiana, leading up to the New Orleans Pelicans hosting NBA All-Star Weekend 2017.
Shortly thereafter, youth and local law enforcement, along with current and former NBA and WNBA players, gathered at the gym for a basketball clinic and Building Bridges Through Basketball workshop.
