After one of their best seasons in school history and a trip to the NCAA Tournament, Lipscomb University contacted Sports Floors, Inc. about upgrading the gym floor in Allen Arena. After visiting our showroom, and testing out numerous floor systems, the decision was made to install Connor Sports Focus Flooring System. By installing the Connor Focus system they are providing their athletes with one of the best performing floors on the market. Focus is also a great floor for maintenance, as it can handle heavier loads than your typical gym floor. Once the old floor was demolished, the new Connor Focus floor was installed, sealed, painted, and finished using water based finish. By choosing to use water based finish, Lipscomb was able to speed up their annual maintenance turn around times. Also unlike oil based finish, the water based finish will stay clear and keep the wood from turning an amber color over the years.
