Wood Flooring

When it comes to wood floors, we have several options available.
Anchored: We offer two types of anchored wood gym flooring systems to our clients in the Mid-South: Fixed Resilient Systems and Fixed Wood Systems. Fixed Resilient flooring systems combine the stabilizing benefits of anchored subfloors with the resiliency of floating systems. Fixed Wood flooring systems are mechanically fastened to the concrete substrate, providing a stable subfloor system. These floors offer buckle resistance without unnecessary resistance.
Parquet: This is a highly resilient sports floor system, generally consisting of a vapor barrier, resilient Rezill pads, wood subfloor, stabilizing edge-grain maple flooring, sanding, sealers, finishes, game lines, and wall base.
Floating: Floating gym flooring systems can rest without being anchored to a concrete subfloor.
Different combinations of pad and subfloor designs allow for varying levels of resiliency. Shock absorption and resilience are key benefits of floating systems.
Synthetic Gym Flooring
The Synthetic gym flooring systems offered by Sports, Floor Inc. are easy to clean and maintain, making them a great gym flooring option in the Mid-South. Vinyl floors and cushioned designs offer ultimate shock absorption while maintaining ball bounce aspects.
Control XT:
This gym flooring system is a vulcanized double or triple durometer rubber athletic system that provides superior force reduction and eliminates “bottoming out.” The Control XT system is designed for heavy indoor bacteria and odors. These floors are often used for volleyball and basketball courts, gymnasiums, and exercise facilities. Control XT floors are virtually indestructible and can be customized with logos or to match your school or organization colors.
PowerDek Fleck and Stone: This gym flooring is ideal for applications that put a lot of stress on the flooring. It’s designed for safe, comfortable, injury-free training and competition. PowerDek Fleck is a high-performance rubber athletic surface ideal for high impact and heavy traffic. It is formulated to rebound from the impact of free weights.
Elastiplus: This synthetic gym flooring system is engineered to offer a consistent balance between good shock absorbency and fast play without fatigue. These floors are also low maintenance and designed to absorb sound and recover from if they’re deformed in any way.
ProTraxx: Ideal for demanding applications and is designed for safe, comfortable, training, and competition. ProTraxx synthetic gym floor provides a resilient, shock-absorbing running surface that is ideal for indoor or outdoor use. The highly weather-resistant, exceptionally durable material also provides excellent traction with its non-slip texture and spike resistant running surface.
TruSport: TruSport is the ideal surface where an environmentally friendly material with excellent shock and sound absorption is desirable. TruSport is well suited for basketball, volleyball, aerobics, childcare areas, student assemblies, and general activities.
Sportgrain Plus: This cushioned vinyl gym flooring is the highest quality product designed for both athletic and commercial use. It provides force reduction values with maximum ball rebound, resulting in improved performance. SportGrain plus synthetic gym flooring is the only cushioned vinyl flooring product manufactured in one continuous production process and is the easiest floor to keep clean.
